How do I use the Delivery Dashboard?
Many restaurants that deliver still use traditional maps to locate the address of the delivery order. Our interactive map will automatically show all orders on the map and allow the staff to get a quick visual of where the orders are coming from and also if certain orders should be taken by any one driver.
Prerequisites
This functionality is currently available for those with the Delivery Map add-on enabled in the back office app store.
Certain functionality regarding Drivers will only be active if Driver Apps add-on is enabled in the back office app store.
Back Office
If there isn't one already, add a new user with the Role "Call Centre Agent" to the store you want to enable the delivery map on.
Note that this user's`credentials are meant to be shared and will NOT allow access to the Back Office.
It's recommended to name this user "Store Dispatcher" or something similar.
Note the email and password for this user.
Logout.
On Terminal
Open a Chrome Browser window in the store on a terminal or ideally a dedicated large TV screen.
Go to https://go.myorderboxhq.com
Login with the above email and password for the new Dispatch user created above.
The Delivery Map will now open and show any Delivery orders that are in the store right now.
Click the Full Screen icon to run it in full screen mode.
This feature is designed to run all day without any intervention required by any user, as it will automatically refresh the pins for every order, with their current status, due time, delivery group and order number, and remove the pin when the order is marked as delivered.
The colour of the pin is determined by the order status, ie. this order is on the way and therefore green. (See key on map).
The small circular colour at the top of the pin shows the delivery group colour the order has been assigned to, which will match the colour used on the Track screen as well as the KDS.
Driver Apps (If enabled)
The black pin shows the location of all your drivers who are not at the restaurant. (NOTE: Driver locations begin being updated on the map once the 1st delivery group is 'On the way' - start button pressed on Driver App).
The small circular colour at the top of the pin shows the delivery group colour the order has been assigned to, which will match the colour of the orders assigned to the driver.
Home - will show all drivers who have clicked I'm there on the app
Busy - will show all drivers who are currently delivering an order or if they are On the way Back it will show their ETA in minutes taking into account traffic.
Filters
- In Restaurant - will show orders with statuses To Prepare, In Kitchen, Ready to Dispatch, Assigned
- Delivering - will show only On the Way,
- All - will show all statuses above.
Google Map Functions
- Zoom In / Out
- Map / Satellite
- Recenter
*NEW - Ability to oversee entire company operation. Simply setup a call agent user at company level and access the company dashboard.
