Setup guide: Online ordering site
At MyOrderBox we believe you should have full control over your online ordering site. Hence, we have made it easy for you to setup your professional site and start receiving orders within minutes. Most of our customers go on to open many stores, so we provide you with a multi store website right from the start.
Before you start
- Ensure you have entered your menu in the Back Office. It does not need to be in it's final form as you can make changes and see those reflected instantly on your site.
- Ensure you have subscribed to a Plan that includes Online Ordering.
In order to view your website follow the instructions below:
Domain Provider
If you want the site to run on your own domain follow these instructions
Back Office
- You can view your website by clicking on My website in your top navigation
Design
- Company: Setup > Online Ordering > Website
- Theme (not needed for bespoke sites): Choose your colour theme from the drop down for the homepage that will be the store locator page and menu page.
- Homepage Image: Once you have chosen your theme, if you want to change the image, you may upload a new one here
- Product background image: Upload any image here
- You may change any of the other design features here anytime
Offer Delivery and Collection
- Company: Setup > Online Ordering > Virtual Brands
- Virtual Brand > Show > Add stores to Delivery and Collection as required
- Setup > Online Ordering > Collection
- If you Offer Collection then Enable it here
- You're Collection times will be your Opening hours which can be amended at Setup > Online Ordering > Opening Hours
- Setup > Online Ordering > Delivery
- If you do not Offer Delivery then Disable it here
- If you do , then make sure you have setup your Delivery Zones or Postcodes using this guide
- Adjust your Delivery Times
Test orders
- Setup > Online Ordering > General Settings
- Online Ordering: Enabled - to enable online ordering
- Setup Card Payments
- Now go to the URL you entered earlier to view your site, and place test orders.
- You see any online order you place in Reporting > Order History
- You should receive the order in the POS Terminal, if not check this article.
