How do I reset my POS terminals?
Reset Terminal
Automatically in POS:
Go to Settings (Advanced Settings) > Reset Device > Reset this Device > Reset this Device Now
Manually
Search
%LOCALAPPDATA%\MyOrderBox
For V2 it's %LOCALAPPDATA%\MyOrderBoxV2
Delete all Cache files and the Settings file
Setup POS again.
How to reset database:
Make sure that you have snipped the setting of the terminal before you proceed with the below.
2.Open This PC
3.Open Local Disk C
4.Open Program Files
5.Open Microsoft SQL Server
6. Open MSSQL12.MSSQLSERVER
7.Open MSSQL
8.Open DATA
9.Delete
- MyOrderBox
-MyOrderBox_log
Reset terminal
11.Connect Terminal to DB - the app will be restarted.
In case you see this error:
Follow these troubleshooting steps:
-Open SQL management studio. If you see this, there is an issue:
-Open Services from the Admin Account stop the app and then start it:
- Go back to SQL Management Studio and delete this:
- Reset terminal again
This should solve the issue.
Amend settings
Make sure everything is as before.
