POS not starting

This relates to the case when

POS application was installed and running on this terminal before and now after clicking the icon the POS is not starting

No error visible

The POS application may not appear to be starting because there are multiple instances already running.
Open Task Manager by CTRL + SHIFT + ESC or type 'task manager' into search
Click on the Processes tab and look for 'MyOrderBox'.
Close all instances of MyOrderBox by selecting them one by one and clicking End task until they have all been removed.
Click on POS icon to start again. Should it still not start, then try Step 2

If running on multiple terminals connected to a Server in store.
Restart the Server by turning off the power and restarting it
Once restarted, click on POS icon to start again.

Should the POS still not start, contact Support.

Error shown

This usually indicates that something is corrupted, and in this case we suggest a reset.
This reset will restore to factory settings your POS application and therefore you will lose all orders currently on the POS, but will still see them in the Back Office.

Click on Search and type fully %LOCALAPPDATA%\MyOrderBoxV2
Click on the folder shown in Search
Search MyOrderBox folder
Delete both CacheDbV2 and the Settings.dat file

Delete files
Click on POS icon to start again
You will need to enter your Admin username and password again to setup the POS again
You will need to adjust your settings again for items like Printers.
