πŸ”Œ Physical Setup



Unbox the Printer

Remove packaging and confirm the printer, power adapter, and optional Ethernet cable are included.

Load the Paper Roll

Open the printer cover

Insert a thermal paper roll (80mm width), ensuring paper feeds from the bottom

Close the lid and tear off any excess paper

Connect Power

Plug in the power adapter and connect it to the printer

Switch the printer ON

Connect to the Internet

Recommended: Ethernet

Connect the Ethernet cable to the printer and a network switch or your router

Optional: Wi-Fi

🌐 Find the IP Address of Your Printer



To pair the printer, you may need its IP address. Here's how to find it:

Make sure the printer is powered on and connected via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.

Simply double press press the Refresh button at the back of the printer and wait for a few seconds until it prints a status slip

The IP address will be printed on this slip under the network section

πŸ”„ Pair with MyFoodFast POS



Launch the MyFoodFast POS app on your Sunmi terminal

Go to Settings > Printer Setup

Tap Search for Printers

Select Sunmi NT311 from the list (you may need to know the IP address of the printer)

Tap Test Print to confirm connection

βœ… You should see a successful test receipt printed.

πŸ’΅ Connect the Cash Drawer



To enable automatic opening of your cash drawer after payment:

Plug the RJ11 (telephone-style) cable from the cash drawer into the cash drawer port on the back of the Sunmi NT311 printer.

In the MyFoodFast POS, ensure this printer is selected as the Customer Printer under Settings > Customer Printer.

⚠️ The cash drawer will only trigger open for printers marked as the 'Customer Printer'.

After setup:

Place a test order in the POS

Confirm the receipt is printed automatically

Printer not found?

Check the power and Ethernet connections

Make sure the terminal and printer are on the same network

Restart both devices

Check paper roll direction

Ensure the lid is properly closed
