How do timed orders work & how can I create one?
Timed orders can be placed on the POS for delivery or collection (Go to step 3) and on Web (Step 1).
Upon receiving order POS - Will either automatically accept (If auto accept is enabled)
or pressing the new order button will display the order on POS.
Accept/Decline (Go to step 5a).

Fixed time collection or delivery ?
Once the desired date and time has been selected > Update >
An order will be created on the track screen immediately with a status of 'To prepare'. If the user would like the order to be sent to the kitchen immediately then the status of the order can be manually overridden by pressing To prepare changing it to In Kitchen. Otherwise, one of the following conditions need to be met for the status to AUTOMATICALLY change to In Kitchen
Prep time = Collection time

(Due time is compare to the offer collection time, set on the quick settings pop up (by pressing the settings button on POS)).
I.e A 2pm order with collection time of 10 minutes will be
- printed to the kitchen/ dispatch printer at 1:50pm. (Label printers will print the same way as kitchen printers)
- displayed on the KDS at 1:50pm. (Orders on the KDS will only display the prep time).
If using a customer receipt printer the order will be printed immediately displaying the due time.
Collection orders - In store and Web orders for a specified time within the prep time will be treated a s ASAP orders. These will be printed straight away and displayed on KDS.

(Due time is compared to the Kitchen send time set in the back office- Store: Setup > POS > Receipts > Kitchen send time).
I.e A 2pm order with a kitchen send time 30 minutes will be
- printed to the kitchen/ dispatch printer at 1:30pm. (Label printers will print the same way as kitchen printers)
- displayed on the KDS at 1:30pm. (Orders on the KDS will only display the prep time).
Delivery orders - In store and Web orders for a specified time within the prep time + delivery time will be treated as ASAP orders. These will be printed straight away and displayed on KDS.
On the POS track screen & Kitchen Display System fixed time orders are displayed with a coloured background around the due time, see below.
