POS application not opening
POS application is not opening. After clicking on MOB shortcut the application may show the loading screen but does not load the login screen even after a minute of waiting.
Solution for Support staff only
Search Task Manager to see if MOB is visible there. If multiple instances exist follow this.
Check logs
Error - if entry relating to [counters] then follow this or section copied here.
Solution
1.) Open a CMD via run as admin
2.) enter
C:\Windows\system32\lodctr.exe /R
and then
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\lodctr.exe /R
If you get the error “Error: Unable to rebuild performance counter setting from system backup store, error code is 2” repeat step 2.
3.) Now re-registers the computer´s performance libraries with the following (for more infos see.aspx)):
C:\Windows\System32\wbem\winmgmt.exe /RESYNCPERF
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\wbem\winmgmt.exe /RESYNCPERF
Try clicking POS shortcut again and see if issue is resolved
Reboot the Terminal
Restart the SQL
Reset the POS
Try downloading the POS and install it from the setup file
