Turning on Remote Assistance (Unattended Mode) on Your Sunmi POS
Purpose: Enabling Unattended Remote Assistance lets MyFoodFast Support access your terminal in seconds—no staff action required—so issues are fixed fast and service stays uninterrupted.
Who should use this guide?
Front‑of‑house or technical staff responsible for setting up or maintaining Sunmi terminals in your takeaway or dark kitchen.
Before you start
- Stable Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection on the terminal
- Sunmi terminal powered on (e.g. D3 PRO)
- Your MyFoodFast / Sunmi Partners account set up and the device already bound
Step‑by‑step: Enable Unattended Access
1. Exit Kiosk mode (if MyFoodFast is full‑screen)
Press Power → Exit Kiosk and enter the kiosk PIN.
2. Open the “Remote Assistance” app
Look for the orange icon with two arrows in a circle.
If you don’t see it, swipe up for the full app drawer.
3. Turn on the Unattended toggle
Tap the switch so it turns orange and wait 3–5 seconds until it stays on.citeturn1view0
4. Confirm the lock‑and‑key icon
A small 🔒 🔑 appears in the status bar—this means the terminal is ready for remote sessions.citeturn1view0
5. Re‑launch MyFoodFast
Press Home; the kiosk app will reopen automatically.
The terminal is now remotely reachable from the Sunmi Partners portal.
Troubleshooting

Is remote control secure?

Yes. Open Remote Assistance and switch Unattended OFF, but we recommend leaving it on for faster support.
