Will I be able to use a physical keyboard rather than the onscreen one?
Yes. This comes down to preference. However, be sure to enable/disable the virtual keyboard within the on-screen keyboard settings from POS.
On the POS App -> A**dvance Settings** -> P**eripheral** -> K**eyboard toggle on/off** (This will turn on/off the 'Use on-screen keyboard')

You can also switch it off from windows settings :
Select “**Start**” > “**Settings**“.
Choose “**Ease of Access**“.
Select “**Keyboard**“.
Set “**On-Screen Keyboard**” to “**On**” or “**Off**” as desired.
If you have a physical keyboard with a USB, it should start working straight away once you have plugged it in. If its a Bluetooth keyboard, please check the keyboards instructions on 'How to' sync to the computer.
