Create your own Pizza

You want to offer your customers the ability to Create their own Pizza i.e. Customer can choose any 4 topping of his choice for free, after which any additional toppings should be chargeable. 

Prerequisites

Ensure your menu has been setup correctly and you can see all your products in the Back Office > Management > Menu Setup

Note: This task should only be done by an Advanced user

Back Office:

Management > Menu > Products >Categories >Options

Note : An option will need to be set up for each product attribute (size). E.g If offering Free choice on Medium and large pizza then two options need to be created. See option for medium below.

Select type 'Add-on'

Complete name of option. E.g Toppings MED x4


Now click on the 'Free type' drop down. Select 'quantity' if setting a number of free choice toppings.

Quantity - Number of toppings offered for free.

Maximum option values per option - Maximum number of toppings that can be selected on product

Maximum option values per option - Minimum number of toppings that can be selected on product



Now click > Save

Now go to 'Menu setup' and create or edit the Free choice menu item. Double click or click the edit icon.



Add details of product. Select 'Product with Attributes'.

Position - Determines the position of the button on the POS screen and Category listing on Website. 

Now select an option drop-down > Select the option set up earlier. E.g Toppings MED x4



Don't forget to sync POS terminal to update menu. (Online ordering site will be updated automatically).
